This links back to 02. Autogynephilia (AGP). Heterosexual men developing a sexual image of themselves as women. If they’re a “woman” who is sexually attracted to other women, then they develop an idea that they are lesbians. Wrong, because lesbians are female.

“Cotton Ceiling” is from a workshop about “breaking down sexual barriers”

Transgender Trend (twitter)

Reframing lesbians saying “NO” as oppression

The “cotton ceiling” is an attempt to compare men coercing lesbians into sex with women’s struggle to break into the upper echelons of the corporate world (the “glass ceiling”). This justifies anger at women who “exclude” men from their dating pools e.g. lesbians.

Angela C Wild (Get The L Out) explains how she experiences “the cotton ceiling” as a lesbian woman:

Gaslighting

Girldick

Having a penis is reframed as a “choice” that a “lesbian” might make. We are told that a “woman”, even a “lesbian” can have a dick.

Girl dick, lady stick, clit, clit-asaurus rex… anything to pretend that a penis is NOT a penis.

“Strapless”

You’ll often hear “lesbians use a strap-on” before hearing “trans women have a strapless”.

This advice is from the American Human Rights Campaign (similar to Stonewall or ACON)

The HRC use the word ‘front hole’ to refer to vaginas, and ‘vagina’ to refer to a post-operative neo-vagina.

Genital Preferences – “some women have penises”

Marie Stopes lays out these plasticine models of disembodied “women’s genitals” like a tasting plate. One is a penis. This is a visual representation of the idea of “genital preferences”.

Magdalen Berns responds to Riley J Dennis on the the “Cotton Ceiling” and “Genital Preferences”.

Not disclosing is sexual coercion

A list of stereotypes and frequent references to liking girls.

Yes, there’s a female version of this

Australian website, GRUNT.org.au is a guide for trans-identified females (trans men) in pursuing sex with gay men. The site features sexually explicit photographs.

Just like the cotton ceiling, it advises that it is option to disclose your sex to the person you’re having sex with.

If you’re fisting or blowing someone, it may not be a thing worth mentioning. Don’t assume that he won’t be ok with it.

GRUNT was devised by a number of women, including ACON director of Trans Health Equity Teddy Cook.

Children who do not conform to sex role stereotypes are seen as actually belonging to the opposite sex.

Diagnosing Gender Dysphoria in Children

This is the criteria for diagnosing children from the DSM 5.

The DSM-5-TR defines gender dysphoria in children as a marked incongruence between one’s experienced/expressed gender and assigned gender, lasting at least 6 months, as manifested by at least six of the following (one of which must be the first criterion):

The DSM-5-TR defines gender dysphoria in children as a marked incongruence between one’s experienced/expressed gender and assigned gender, lasting at least 6 months, as manifested by at least six of the following (one of which must be the first criterion):

  • A strong desire to be of the other gender or an insistence that one is the other gender (or some alternative gender different from one’s assigned gender)
  • In boys (assigned gender), a strong preference for cross-dressing or simulating female attire; or in girls (assigned gender), a strong preference for wearing only typical masculine clothing and a strong resistance to the wearing of typical feminine clothing
  • A strong preference for cross-gender roles in make-believe play or fantasy play
  • A strong preference for the toys, games or activities stereotypically used or engaged in by the other gender
  • A strong preference for playmates of the other gender
  • In boys (assigned gender), a strong rejection of typically masculine toys, games, and activities and a strong avoidance of rough-and-tumble play; or in girls (assigned gender), a strong rejection of typically feminine toys, games, and activities
  • A strong dislike of one’s sexual anatomy
  • A strong desire for the physical sex characteristics that match one’s experienced gender

The diagnostic criteria relies on stereotypes and deviation from what is ‘typical’ for young boys and girls. If we lived in a world where children simply wore practical clothes, and play games according to their interest, the diagnosis would fall away.

Note how it says “typically masculine” and “typically feminine” – what does that mean?

Children do not have an innate sense that “blue equals boy”. Did you know that 100 years ago pink was a boy’s colour. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_historical_sources_for_pink_and_blue_as_gender_signifiers

What do the expert advocates say?

Mermaids UK is a charity that “has been supporting transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse children, young people, and their families since 1995“.

In training sessions they explain, to police and toddlers alike, that gender is a spectrum from Barbie to GI Joe.

Mermaids deal in stereotypes.

Sterilised and surgically mutilated

When Australian campaigner Katherine Deves tweeted about “vulnerable children surgically mutilated and sterilised” she was lambasted in the press.

Children diagnosed with gender dysphoria are put on a treatment pathway: social transition, puberty blocking drugs, cross-sex hormones, followed by a selection of surgeries.

Puberty blockers cause sterility.

Dr Dylan Wilson is a Queensland paediatrician. He describes puberty blockade as freezing the child’s body in time, preventing formation of sperm or eggs, and preventing the maturation of sexual function.

Puberty blockers prevent development of adult sexual function

“An observation that I had,” said Bowers, “every single child who was, or adolescent, who was truly blocked at Tanner stage 2,” which is the beginning of physical development, when hormones begin their work of advancing a child to adulthood, “has never experienced orgasm. I mean, it’s really about zero.” [my emphasis]

But that’s not happening in Australia

There are gender clinics all around Australia. Many are located in large hospitals. The most prominent clinic is at the Royal Children’s Hospital (VIC), headed by Michelle Telfer. They are closely allied with activist groups including Transcend, Parents of Gender Diverse Children and ACON.

This slide, from Maple Leaf House in Newcastle, demonstrates the clinic’s strong link with activist organisations. While AUSPATH (Australian Professional Association for Transgender Health) and international equivalent WPATH seem like medical bodies, they are membership-based lobby groups whose mission is to promote ‘gender affirming’ care.

Yes, sterilising children here in Australia

The Royal Children’s Hospital treatment pathway shows 8 year olds being referred for “fertility counselling” and possible procedures to “preserve” fertility. This means extracting sperm or ova to preserve outside the body.

Remember, this is because they had “a strong preference for wearing only typical masculine (or feminine) clothing“.

There’s no evidence sterilisation helps children

There is a constant claim that children will suicide if they are not given puberty suppression or cross-sex hormones. This claim is used to justify the practice of experimental medicine.

For a child <16 years clinicians must also consider if the intervention is a ‘special medical treatment’: a intended or reasonably likely to render the child permanently infertile, unless the treatment is administered to treat a life threatening condition’.

Australian gender clinics – still not convinced?

Why Don’t We Know What’s Happening in Australia?

Dr Dianna Kenny talks to Stassja and Ange about the data on children’s clinics.

Why does everyone ask what sex the baby is? Are you all obsessed with genitals?

No. We’re being polite. The baby’s sex is one of the few personal attributes that we know about the baby. It’s a way of inviting you to tell us about your new child.

Trans-hausens By Proxy, Homophobic Parents and Famous Trans Kids

There are repeated examples of effeminate boys with controlling parents who become famous by way of their transgender identity.

Georgie Stone (Australia, child actor)

  • Star of ABC documentary ‘About A Girl’.
  • Georgie and his mother founded a charity Transcend to fight their legal battle to remove court protections for children seeking pubertal suppression and cross-sex hormones.
  • Georgie Stone was an actor on long-running TV show Neighbours until the show wound up in August 2022.
