This Never Happens

#ThisNeverHappens documents cases where men use the cover of a woman identity to commit violent crimes. It is closely related to #NotOurCrimes where violent crimes committed by males are reported on as being committed by women.

Note how the language used to report on earlier cases is more likely to attribute crimes to males. Later reports attribute crimes wholly to women, or females.

2024 – Jesse Dean Angus Bell aka Jessica Isabelle Rose – Charges relating to Child Abuse Material, NSW

2022 – Jesse Desmond Jones – Accused accessory to murder, WA

• Jones was released on bail from Hakea Prison in August 2024.
• Jones is accused of being an accessory after the fact to the murder of his friend, Nardia Louise Spice.
• Alleged to have dug the grave where Spice’s body was located
• Jones was held in Hakea, a male-only prison in WA

“Police allege Ms Spice was lured to a dog park with the promise of sex work by three other people, before being bashed to death. Her body was buried in bushland about 25km away, near Ronan Road.”

2022 – Tianne Miller – Grooming 9 Year Old for Sex

Fortunately, Miller was communicating with police investigators, not a child as he believed.

Tianne Miller, 49, of Greystanes, appeared at Sydney Downing Centre District Court on Thursday after sending a series of sexually explicit messages to investigators in 2020 and 2021.

In July 2020, Child Exploitation Internet Unit detectives caught the widow sending sick messages on Chatiw and Facebook Messenger when she told an identity known as “41” she was 14 and how she intended to engage in sexual activity with her.

2022 – Josh Dean French / Jayda Dean – Child Sexual Abuse and Possession of CSA Materials (sentenced), SA

2022 – Rachel Queen Burton, Producing Child Sexual Exploitation Material (accused), SA/NT

• 44 year old male appeared in Adelaide court
• Known on TikTok as rachel.queen8008
• Burton appeared in court on eight child abuse offences ranging from gross indecency to directing a person to sexually manipulate her and producing child exploitation material.
• Case adjourned to allow search and analysis of Burton’s laptop, to be heard in December 2022.
• Media refers to Burton as a woman

2022 – Unnamed male, alleged incest perpetrator, ACT

• Male, 27
• Trial held in 2022, crimes committed in 2013
• Abused 2 siblings, (5 and 12) over a 7 year period. “The court heard it is alleged the girls were choked, and one of them had her head held under water, to ensure they didn’t tell anyone about the offences.”
• Set free on bail, because the magistrate thought it was inappropriate for a male to go to a men’s prison.
• 27-year-old pleads not guilty in ACT Magistrates Court to incest, child sex offences against siblings

2021 – Kahdir Kamoun – Indecent exposure to a minor

• Kahdir Kamoun exposed [his] penis to a boy, 14, at a Centro shopping centre in Bankstown, south-west Sydney, on 18 February 2021

2021 – Lisa Jones, Attempted Sexual Assault, VIC

• Attempted rape in broad daylight
• “Jones spent six years in a male prison in Germany for sexually abusing a six-year-old girl, before she transitioned”
• Later revealed that Jones had been sent to a women’s prison facility causing the female inmates fear.

2021 – Chloe Jessica Earle, Stalking & Extortion, QLD

“I can’t ignore the fact that as a transgender person with male genitalia if you went to a male jail, your safety would be at risk,” Brisbane District Court Judge Paul Smith said at sentencing. “There is no guarantee if you were sent to a female jail. In fact, it may be the reverse.”

• 61 year old male supplied drugs to a 14 year old girl
• Argued that transgender status should be taken into account and no time should be served

2020 – Olivia Sindel, Murdered a dog, NSW

• Beat an ex-lover’s dog before slashing it’s throat
• “…two charges of stalk or intimidate, two counts of contravening an AVO, two counts of breaching her bail and one of using a carriage service to menace or harass.” — Report in the Daily Mail
• “In the past, Sindel had served jail time for charges including larceny, possession of weapons and domestic incidents, Ms Quinn said, who added the previous sentences had not been of “assistance to her”.” — Report of sentencing in News.com.au

2020 – Jeffrey Terrence Anderson, Child rapist, QLD

• Released from prison
• “Anderson’s belief that the risk of re-offending would be mitigated by becoming a woman is not supported and somewhat naive.”

Jeffrey Terrence Anderson of Brisbane was convicted of raping a 12-year-old child and two six-year-old children while he was babysitting. While Anderson was in prison, corrections officers found a three-page story in which he detailed a fantasy of raping a three-year-old. He was discovered with images of children as late as 2017. A psychologist observed: “Anderson’s belief that the risk of re-offending would be mitigated by becoming a woman is not supported and somewhat naive.” Still, a judge accepted Anderson’s claim that the cross-sex hormones he had begun using in prison decreased his urges to rape children. Anderson was released from prison on June 4, 2020.

2019 – Vetea Joseph Bunton, Child Abuse Material, QLD

• Released from prison after pleading guilty
• Record expunged by Court of Appeal

… was found in possession of a mobile device that contained “15 images depicting young boys between the age of five years and 16 years posing naked, performing oral sex or engaging in anal intercourse, either with other young people or adults.” He pleaded guilty. An attorney presented a forensic psychologist report, which determined that the images were downloaded out of “curiosity” while struggling with “transgender identity” and “sexual identity.” A judge rejected the argument and sentenced Bunton to probation, but in 2019, a Court of Appeal ordered the record of conviction expunged due to such “unusual circumstances” as Bunton’s “psychological profile.”

2018 – Evie Amati, Axe Attack, NSW

• “A SYDNEY woman man who attacked three people with an axe has denied she was very angry after perceiving she had been rejected because she was transgender.” — Report in News.com.au
• Initially sentenced to 4 ½ years the sentence has been increased on appeal to 14 years.

2012 – Unnamed male, Indecent assault, NSW

2011 – Unnamed male, Flashing, ACT

• “They say a man, aged somewhere between mid-20s and early 30s, has committed indecent or intimidating acts on each occasion. Each time he was dressed in women’s clothing.” — ACT police seek cross-dressing flasher

2010 – Christopher Ivan Broome, Rape, Threat of gang rape, QLD

• “A “TRANSGENDER” male threatened to arrange for a “football team” to gang-rape a man he had just met if he did not submit to a homosexual encounter in an inner-Brisbane city park, a court has been told.” — Court hears how a transgender male made a threat to organise for a man to be gang-raped by a football team
• Sentenced to 24 months

1993 – Paul Denyer, Serial killer, VIC

• Murdered 2 schoolgirls and a 22 year old mother in 1993
• “Despite being a confessed woman hater who started stalking women when he was just 17, Denyer now dresses as a female and asks to be called Paula.” (2021)
• Natalie Russell’s parents’ plea to keep daughter’s killer Paul Denyer in jail for life

1987 – Maddison Hall, Murder, NSW

• Murdered hitch hiker Lyn Saunders in 1987
• Underwent SRS in 2003 (while in prison)

1974, 1981, 1997 – Reginald Arthurell, Serial killer, NSW

Cross-dressing serial killer has said he wants a sex change surgery upon release
Reginald Arthurell served 23 years of 24-year term for murder of Venet Mulhall
He bludgeoned her to death with a piece of wood in 1997 after two other killings
Earlier jailed for manslaughter of naval officer in 1981 and his stepfather in 1974
Sex change surgery largely covered by Medicare and requires doctor’s referral
