Doctors used to have a consistent standard of care across the board. Now, patients will simply bypass those who are not sufficiently affirming.
TransHub says that “Mandating a psychiatrist or endocrinologist is assessment for all patients” is “gatekeeping”.

Trans has taken hold in creative online communities
Unrestricted online communities where young people mix anonymously with one another (and with older adults) are rife with gender theory – Tumbr, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, DeviantArt.
Every single ROGD parent will tell you “take away your child’s phone”.
There are high profile (and thousands of less-than-high-profile) young people sharing their transition journeys via YouTube. Such as the goofy Jamie Raine. They do build a following and some may create an income.
Then there’s Chase Ross – who seems to mostly review packers. These YouTubers offer “educational” series to explain the world of trans to other young people.
Libs of TikTok
Libs of TikTok is an US social media account on Twitter. The operator scans TikTok content and broadcasts examples of grooming, particularly by teachers.
