“Gatekeeping” – Pick Your Trans-Affirming Doctor

When it comes to choosing a psychiatrist or doctor, the online transgender community keep wiki pages update with reviews from the community. This makes it easier to choose doctors who are ‘trans friendly’ and will green-light procedures. https://www.reddit.com/r/TransSurgeriesWiki/wiki/psychs/australia/

There are high profile (and thousands of less-than-high-profile) young people sharing their transition journeys via YouTube. Such as the goofy Jamie Raine. They do build a following and some may create an income.

Then there’s Chase Ross – who seems to mostly review packers. These YouTubers offer “educational” series to explain the world of trans to other young people.

Libs of TikTok

Libs of TikTok is an US social media account on Twitter. The operator scans TikTok content and broadcasts examples of grooming, particularly by teachers.
